CA has launched version 4 of its CA Wily Customer Experience Manager (CEM), designed to help organisations measure and manage Web applications for optimal customer experience. Version 4 offers out-of-the-box integration with CA Wily Introscope, CA’s web application performance management product.

CEM and Introscope are key components of CA’s Application Performance Management solution, which offers real-time transaction monitoring.

CA Wily CEM detects when end-users have problems with a web application, whether the problems originate in the web application, network and application infrastructure, or in the connected databases and systems. It collects problem transactions, prioritises them based on their impact on the business, and automatically alerts IT staff.

New features in CA Wily CEM 4.0 include advanced analytics, integration with CA Service Desk, full capture of transaction problem information, and expanded support for SOAs and Web services.

CA Wily’s Mike Malloy, vice president and head of products, said: “This gives enterprises actionable insight into how customers are succeeding or failing with their web applications.”
