Core process: No more fruitless searching for Bitbuzz hotspots

Irish Wi-Fi service provider Bitbuzz has teamed up with O2 Ireland to create an app that lets iPhone users find their nearest hotspot.

The application guides users to the nearest Bitbuzz Wi-Fi hotspot from their current location. O2 iPhone customers already get free access to all Bitbuzz Wi-Fi hotspots in Ireland north and south.

Bitbuzz has over 200 hotspots around Ireland, and will send users live updates when new ones go live.

Bitbuzz MD Shane Deasy noted: “This is an extremely useful and time-saving appl. iPhone users no longer need roam the streets looking for shops with the Wi-Fi symbol.”

O2’s David Hodgers, head of products & services, said the application would “add to users’ already-great iPhone experience”.

The free Apple-approved download is available in the Apple iTunes Store.
