Muzu strikes content deal with MSN

Dublin-based Muzu could reach an audience of 430 million through a new content partnership deal with MSN

Dublin-based music streaming website Muzu is to bring its catalogue of over 220,000 music videos to Microsoft’s redesigned MSN website.

The Muzu content will be featured on the new MSN and will include the latest new music videos, most popular, featured playlists, editor’s picks and music video premieres.

“The new MSN brings together the world’s best media sources along with data and services to enable users to do more,” said Brian MacDonald, corporate vice president of information & content experiences at Microsoft.  “With the ability to synchronise across all platforms, which will soon include iOS and Android,  MSN focuses on people’s daily habits, helping them complete tasks on the web and across all of their devices, to stay informed, engaged and entertained.”

MSN boasts 430 million users worldwide, including over 1 million in Ireland. Muzu has a global audience of 11 million. The service is currently available online, through smart TVs and on Xbox Live.
