The new Iomega Mini Hard Drive is a 40Gbyte 1.8 inch hard drive that weighs just 100g. It is a 4200-prm drive which has a rugged aluminium enclosure and comes with a USB 2.0 interface for plug-and-play with any compatible computer.
A blue drive light signals disk activity and an on/off switch allows laptop users to power down the device without disconnecting it. Each drive comes with a sleek leather travel case, USB cable, and software CD. The Mini Hard Drive also ships with Iomega Automatic Backup software.
Priced at EUR229 the Iomega drive is compatible with Microsoft Windows Me/2000/2000 Pro/ XP Home or Professional. In addition it can also be used with a MAC G4 or G3 or an iMac computer with built-in USB connection and Mac OS 9.0 or above.
