Memory Bank announces FalconStor deal

Dublin-based IT distributor Memory Bank has signed a distribution contract with US multinational FalconStor Software.

Under the deal Memory Bank will distribute FalconStor’s entire range of disk-based data protection storage technology in Ireland.

Memory Bank managing director Elaine Ralph (pictured) said: "We are seeing a strong demand from the market for new storage technology which provides automated disaster recovery for mixed physical and virtual environments and the need for continuous data protection.

"After evaluating a number of alternatives, we chose to work with FalconStor because it provides users with fast, highly available solutions designed to meet their current and future data protection needs."

John Woolley, sales director Northern Europe, FalconStor, said: "We were looking for an Ireland based distribution partner with a well established network of enterprise solution providers. Memory Bank not only fulfills these criteria but also has demonstrated that they have the technical, sales and marketing capabilities to effectively build and support our new Irish channel of resellers."
