A team of student film-makers from NUI Maynooth walked away from The Digital Hub in Dublin last Thursday night with a hefty €3,000 in prize money, thanks to their success in the Dare2bDrinkAware film competition.

The team, Pottor Productions, comprised of Roisin Geraghty from Castlerea, Co. Roscommon; Ross Giles from Mylerstown, Co. Kildare; George Griffin from Deansgrange, Dublin; Ruth Lanigan from Carlow and Jonathan Richards from Navan, Co. Meath – won three out of five awards in the competition for their short film, ‘It’s Funny, But It Also Makes You Think…’.

Their film takes a humorous look at how drunk people are perceived by those around them.
