Internet service provider Magnet Business is now offering free “.eu” domain names to companies signing up to any one of its business broadband services. The .eu is a new Top Level Domain introduced for use of the European community and allows companies and citizens from the European Union to have an additional choice for their web or e-mail address. The offer is valid until July 31st and Magnet Business will handle the application procedure on behalf of its customers.
For companies who have an established website and e-mail domain name the newly registered “.eu” domain name can be linked to any existing website or email address. To date almost 25,000 “.eu” domains have been registered from Ireland.
