Systems integrator and professional services company, Lan Communications, has been appointed as Ireland’s first Certified Solution Partner for Lancope Inc, a leading provider of behaviour-based threat detection and network intelligence solutions.
The partnership recognises Lan Communications’ strong track record in delivering innovative security management solutions and aims to introduce corporate and government clients to StealthWatch, Lancope’s Network Behaviour Analysis (NBA) and Response solution. StealthWatch adds an extra layer of network security by continuously measuring vital signs of networks and hosts to block zero-day worms, viruses and DoS attacks as well as policy violations and unauthorised or misconfigured devices.
Commenting on the accreditation, Lan Communications MDAndrew O’Kelly said: “Our partnership with Lancope reflects our own commitment to deliver innovative and effective solutions to the complex problems of security management.”
One market analyst expects 25% of large enterprises to use NBA as part of their network security strategy by 2007.
