2002 FIFA World Cup
Fifaworldcup.yahoo.com
If you’re Irish and have a pulse, we don’t need to tell you that World Cup fever hass visited our shores again. The 2002 FIFA World Cup site, created in partnership with Yahoo!, is the official site for the world’s most popular sporting event.

Though we’re up against Germany, Cameroon and Saudi Arabia in the group stages, Irish footie fans can learn about the tournament’s other elite teams. Site content includes World Cup news, while an ‘Entertainment’ section has all the latest games, mascot bumph, music and downloads.

Should you be a lucky enough to catch a flight to Korea and Japan in May and June, the ‘Destination Asia’ section provides travel information on the two host countries. History buffs will love the Pure Football and Tournament sections, which covers the tournament’s history.
