The Irish Software Association (ISA) annual conference, “New models – new approaches for tomorrow’s successes”, takes place in the Mansion House, on Dawson Street in Dublin 2, on Thursday 18 May. The conference will be opened by Micheal Martin, Minister for Enterprise, Trade and Employment, and will be chaired by Matt Cooper, presenter of “The Last Word” on Today FM.
The first session will look at new financial models for funding companies through different stages of growth and will include contributions from Andy Malik, MD of Lehman Brothers in New York, and Eric Hjerpe, a partner at Atlas Venture in Boston. Roger Fulton of Gartner and Etel’s Sean Melly with then talk about software as a service. After a break for coffee, a panel including Xsil’s Peter Conlon, Pat Brazel, and Garry Moroney of Informatica, will look at different approaches to scaling companies.
The final session of the day, to be given by Salesforce.com’s Steve Garnett, will look at adapting the sales model and seeking new routes to market.
