Irish company becomes Point Inside VAR

Point Inside has appointed Wicklow-based Actus Marketing Solutions as their exclusive value added reseller (VAR) for Europe for applications built upon Point Inside’s mobile destination content platform.

“We have been looking for some time now for a partner in Europe with proven experience in both retail and technology,” said Jon Croy, co-founder and vice president for Point Inside “With Actus Marketing Solutions I believe we have found a partner who can provide customers with both the knowledge and the local presence necessary to provide superior mobile solutions to European customers.”

Actus is already at an advanced stage of negotiation with a number of shopping centre owners, airport authorities and urban retail districts about deployment of Point Inside’s platform.

The Point Inside platform is already in use in over 600 shopping centres and 70 airports across the US and today’s announcement brings these features to European venues within the Actus MobiShop suite of mobile applications. Actus can now provide these European clients with detailed indoor ‘smart maps’ of their venues showing stores, kiosks, toilets, lifts, ATMs, parking areas, play areas, lost & found stations, and other guest services.”
