Irish Broadband, the wireless broadband Internet provider, has announced that it is to create 60 new jobs in Ireland by the end of the year. The company, which was recently awarded seven licences to provide wireless broadband services around the country, claims that the new positions are the result of an upsurge in demand for its services. ‘We are actively recruiting staff to provide our existing and future customers with the best, most cost-effective broadband service in the market, said Paul Doody, managing director of Irish Broadband. The new positions include technical, engineering, administrative, marketing and sales staff.
