IT distributor Ingram Micro Logistics has announced the signing of an agreement to provide fulfillment services for networking solutions provider TRENDnet.

TRENDnet is a provider of networking solutions to SMEs and home users. Its product line includes Internet cameras, print servers, powerline networking products and multimedia accessories.

Robert Gifford, executive vice president Global Logistics and responsible for IM Logistics globally, said: "The agreement with TRENDnet proves again that we are bringing a concept to manufacturers where they can leverage our 3PL capabilities and improve on the quality of their supply chain. TRENDnet is one of the many opportunities we started up in EMEA in the past year and shows that our Logistics model is starting to be adopted in the EMEA market".

"Working with Ingram Micro is not new to us as they are a distributor for our products, but as we were looking for a European warehouse that could support our growth we compared them to some of their competitors and they showed flexibility and scalability that none of the others could offer. Besides that their thorough knowledge of the EMEA-markets enables us to grow our market share," said Lilian Yao, TRENDnet director of operations.

Ingram Micro Logistics provides supply chain services for manufacturers, publishers, brick and mortar retailers, and web marketers. Supply chain solutions can be implemented using Ingram Micro’s infrastructure, the vendor’s existing infrastructure, or other third party facilities.
