Huawei Ireland appoints new CEO

Calvin Lan makes move following globally recognised work with Dutch mobile operator

Calvin Lan has been appointed chief executive officer of Huawei Technologies Ireland. Calvin joined Huawei in 2001 and has held several senior positions within the company, including roles in China, Argentina, Brazil, Mexico and recently in the Netherlands where he was director of the account for mobile network KPN. While there, his work on the KPN account helped the operator achieve the accolade of world’s best mobile network three years in a row.

Our products and solutions help empower Ireland’s mobile and broadband networks while we continue to focus on creating value for our customers and partners while putting an emphasis on our decarbonisation efforts.”
