Pocket LOOX is a new modular handheld from Fujitsu Siemens that has integrated Bluetooth module, a range of plug-on modules and expandability due to its integrated Compact Flash Type II and SD/MMCard Slot.
Due to an integrated Compact Flash (CF) Card slot type II and SD/MMCard slot it offers the user several connectivity possibilities. The wide range of available CF Card Type II options on the market such as cameras, storage options, GPS, WLAN and modem together with the synchronous usage of SD/MMCard storage options shows the advanced possibilities.
Modules such as a second battery can be plugged onto the back of the Pocket LOOX. By connecting with Bluetooth wireless to a notebook or desktop PC, it is possible to synchronise calendar entries, contacts, inbox, programs and files.
Pocket LOOX comes with a bright 240×320 pixel 65.536-colour reflective TouchScreen, which is intended for use with a stylus or with fingertip.
The unit can work with HTML/WAP based documents and also with MS Word, text, SMS, e-mails, Adobe files and other documents.
Applications such as Pocket Outlook, PocketExcel and PocketWord are integrated into the operating system.
