Guidewire Software, a US-based provider of software products to the general insurance industry, has announced plans to hire between 60 and 80 new staff over the next two years.
Already employing more than 150 people at its Global Services and Development Centre in Dublin, the expansion will make Guidewire’s Irish operation its largest outside of the US.
The move is supported by the Department of Jobs, Enterprise and Innovation through IDA Ireland.
Marcus Ryu, chief executive officer, Guidewire Software, said: “We have been very pleased with the quality of talent and output from our Dublin office, and I regard our decision to start operations in Ireland as one of the best we have made in the last several years. We intend to build on that success with a significant increase in our hiring plans and a deeper integration of our Dublin-based personnel into the career progression opportunities of the company, especially in Europe.”
Recruitment is underway to fill roles in software, Web and mobile engineering and development; automation QA; dev ops; product managers; technical consultants; and graduate developers.
