A study from Symantec has shown that while nearly three quarters of people have expressed an interest in making their data centres green, only one in seven have reported achieving those intentions.
“For the purpose of this study, we define a green data centre as having increased efficiencies in energy usage, power consumption, space utilisation and reduction of polluting energy sources,” said the Green Data Centre report.
