GoIreland.com reports continued online tourism booking growth

Tourism information and reservations provider, Gulliver Ireland, has announced that their website GoIreland.com and its affiliate network reported online bookings growth of 13% to date this year.

More than 76,000 tourism bookings were made online (representing almost 320,000 bednights), which were valued at €15.5m. Average booking value increased to €203.38 from €196.62 compared with the same period last year.
Nearly half (45%) of GoIreland.com’s bookings were domestically sourced, with 17% coming from England and a further 12% from the USA. Northern Ireland and France also made the Top 5 country booking source list for 2007.
Dublin (29%), the South West (16%) and the West (15%) were the three regions to secure the most bookings so far this year.
