Steganos Safe holds and hides sensitive data. Once set up, users click on the Safe symbol and the entire drive disappears. Steganos claims that other encryption products only make the drive invisible. Steganos Safe, however, is based on AES – an encryption algorithm which works with a 256-bit-long code, which the company claims, has never been cracked.
Users can encrypt their data on a USB stick, mobile phone or digital camera and can save passwords for the Safe on them as well. If they connect their device then the corresponding secure drives open automatically.
Steganos Portable Safe turns a memory stick into a mobile safe: Its contents can easily be decrypted on any PC with no additional software. Add new data – as soon as the memory stick is removed, all information is encrypted. Or burn encrypted archives on CD, DVD or DVD DL.
With Steganos Shredder, users can destroy unwanted documents or entire folders permanently. The Deep Cleaning Shredder removes all junk data from your hard drive.
