Samsung Series 5 ULTRA
Samsung was one of the top brands in netbooks (God rest their souls) and is now looking to get a foothold in the burgeoning ultrabook space. Unveiled at CES last January, the Series 5 line of ultrabooks uses an Intel Core i5-2467M processor and comes in 13" and 14" models with 1366×768 resolution displays through Samsung’s SuperBright technology.
The 13" model comes with a choice of 128Gb SSD or 500Gb HDD also features a full-size HDMI port along with one USB 3.0, two USB 2.0, a 4-in-1 multi SD card slot and an Ethernet port and weighs 1.39kg with an SSD (1.43kg with HDD).
The 14" comes with a 500Gb HDD, HDMI, VGA, two USB 3.0, USB 2.0, a 4-in-1 multi SD card slot and an Ethernet port and weighs 1.8Kg.
Both models run Windows 7 and come with 4Gb DDR3 RAM, and a 1.3MP HD webcam.
