The P990 will sport a hardware keyboard beneath the flip-down keypad.

The basic phone supports high speed 3G internet access with video calling, also facilitating full browsing of web pages. These are viewed in landscape on the new Opera 8 browser. In addition, the P990 is prepared for all major push e-mail clients enabling full e-mail access with attachments.

Reading e-mails is made simpler on a 2.8” touch screen. Multi tasking is also possible so the user can browse the Internet, send and receive files at the same time as talking.
