Keeping up with the market trends, Fujitsu Siemens Computers has launched the Stylistic ST Series Tablet PC.
The PC can be used as a slimmed-down desktop or a portable PC, depending on your needs each day.
The Tablet PC’s XGA TFT display is equipped with an electromagnetic digitiser, making it possible to write directly on the screen with the accompanying pen for a natural handwriting input.
Weighing in at just 1.48kg, the Stylistic 4110 comes in an A4 package, measuring 22 x 30 cm, with a depth of 22mm. It has up to 5 hours battery life and can be easily connected to devices such as a keyboard, mouse or DVD/CD reader and writer, or a GSM/GPRS card. The 10.4-inch XGA TFT display can be rotated between landscape and portrait mode without rebooting the system.
The ST4110 is powered by an 800Mhz Ultra Low Voltage Mobile Intel Pentium III Processor-M, and supports Enhanced Intel SpeedStep technology. The shock mounted hard drive (20Gbyte or 40Gbyte) guards against loss of data as the device is being transported. The 256Mbyte of RAM can be upgraded to a maximum of 768Mbyte.
Optional IEEE 802.11b wireless LAN capabilities with advanced security protocols allow users to stay connected, and the PC is also fitted with modem and Ethernet connections. Two USB connectors and an Infrared port are also included.
