Trakm8, one of Europe’s leading fleet control systems vendors, is expanding into Ireland through alliance with Clear Solutions.
Trakm8’s products allow vehicles and drivers to be monitored, allowing organisations to manage deliveries and services, or track stolen vehicles down to as little as 5 metres.

Since it started commercially trading in 2003, the UK company based in Dorset has shipped over 90,000 systems worldwide.
Clear Solutions has now agreed to resell and install Trakm8’s) Simple Web Interface For Tracking (SWIFT) to its nationwide customer base, which includes Vodafone’s corporate customers in Ireland.

SWIFT will enables Irish businesses to track fleets of vehicles, providing controllers with a snapshot view of up to 100 commercial vehicles’ locations, mileage, maximum speed and idle time. Swift was unveiled at The Irish Building Exhibition in September in Dublin’s Simmonscourt.

Costing just.79c per user per day and with no ongoing contract, SWIFT generated a lot of interest from smaller fleet businesses who wanted a cost-effective and intuitive way of managing their fleet. SWIFT targets businesses with 5-100 vehicles, providing them with a snapshot of stats on each commercial vehicle.

, Clear Solutions is Using Swift to introduce a ‘keep your fleet on the street” service which will provide fleet managers with an after hours and weekend installation service to prevent unnecessary downtime. Businesses will be able to continue their normal fleet operation and a mobile installer will fit the device at a more convenient time for the business.
