Understand why Information is the principle driver of competitive advantage and challenge some of your assumptions around discovering, managing and presenting data.

  Speaker: Kevin Magee

  Kevin is a 25 year veteran of the technology industry and a recognised expert in product development, software engineering, Big Data, and Cloud Computing. He has held senior executive roles in both Technology and Operations across a variety of industries and companies from the Fortune 500 to start-ups to University Research Labs.

  Among his roles he has worked as CIO for SuMi Trust Global Asset Services, Global CTO for Cross Atlantic Capital, as Director of Software Engineering for Skillsoft, as COO for Information Mosaic. and various senior technical and operational roles for multiple technology product vendors.

  He is a member of the Irish Government Task Force on Big Data and is currently a Board Member for CeADAR, the Centre for Applied Data Analytics Research at University College Dublin and is
  the lead industry representative on several Big Data research streams.

  A long standing member of the IEEE and a Fellow of the Irish Computer Society, Kevin is currently CTO and co-founder of Vidiro Analytics, an Adtech company specialising in the high-growth online video sector.
