Eastpoint has begun offering free outdoor Wi-Fi to employees of companies based at the Dublin city centre office park.
The new service, provided by UPC, was launched today by Dublin’s Lord Mayor, Oisín Quinn, EastPoint Park Manager Jane Cross and CEO of UPC Ireland Magnus Ternsjö.
The service will be available across the 40-acre park area which hosts over 50 companies, including Irish, multinational and Fortune 500 corporations and their 6,000 employees from anywhere in the park.
Jane Cross, EastPoint Park manager, said: “We have enjoyed a long relationship with UPC having their Irish head office in the park and this new service is a fantastic and welcome addition to the existing range of on-site amenities available to employees and visitors, which makes their experience here even more rewarding.”
In another recent move, UPC Business announced its new 500Mb/s superfast broadband service which will be offered to businesses in Dublin, Waterford and Galway before being rolled out nationally.
