Digital Realty Trust – which owns, acquires, redevelops, develops and manages technology-related property – has completed a turn-key lease agreement with ServeCentric, the managed services and data centre operator. The deal will see ServeCentric expand its footprint in Digital Realty Trust’s property in Dublin.

DRT’s VP, Brent Behrman, noted: “Digital Realty Trust’s Turn-Key Datacentres SM enables managed services companies like ServeCentric to respond rapidly to their customers’ needs with an ideal data centre environment to support their mission-critical applications.” He said: “Our Turn-Key Datacentres SM significantly reduce the amount of time required to bring a new data centre online, from months or years to only weeks. That is a tremendous competitive advantage to data centre operators and hosting companies that are seeing strong demand for their services.”

Datacentre SM facilities provide hi-tech environments for supporting essential infrastructure, with advanced cooling, power, redundancy, and sustainability features to ensure that critical applications are always available, while also optimising energy efficiency. DRT’s facility is scalable from hundreds of kilowatts to megawatts of IT load, and are located in markets throughout North America and Europe.
