Designer student bags IT fashion prize

NCAD design student Caroline Duffy has given the laptop bag a makeover with her winning entry in the Dell NCAD Functional Fashion Awards 2001. 

The judges — Irish designer Helen Cody, TV presenter Caroline Morahan and representatives from Dell and NCAD — voted Duffy’s ‘Media Darlings’ design to be the best lucking PC shoulder sack that they had ever seen.

The winning design will be available as a limited edition this Spring. As part of her prize, Caroline also received a Dell Inspiron 4100 laptop.
