Several new technologies have been incorporated into the latest Multimedia Philips X Series designer PCs, including Real Flat CRT displays, Optical Mice, Dolby Digital surround sound and DVD recorder drives.
The systems are available with a chrome and ivory finish and can be supplied to order by the manufacturer, Dundalk-based iQon Technologies.
Optional specs include the choice of processors: Celeron 1.7, 1.8, 1.9, 2.0GHz or Pentium 4 2.0, 2.4 or 2.8GHz. Hard drives of 40, 60, or 80Gbyte can be installed.
The X Series has a number of standard features including 10/100 Ethernet connectivity, six-channel surround sound, Philips stereo speakers, 64Mbyte DDR Graphics and DVD as standard.
The range also includes a Philips Real Flat CRT monitor, Logitech Internet keyboard, Logitech ‘Optical’ Scroll Mouse and ASUS Motherboards.
