Dell has announced that is has won a contract worth over €100,000 to supply the mobile technology requirements of Acorn Life, a life assurance company. Acorn Life’s sales team needed lightweight mobile computers with a high level of customer support and long battery life.
Dell said it met the team’s specific needs through the provision of Dell Latitude Notebooks with wireless connectivity and GPRS capabilities to ensure that the team can remain productive in the field.
Dell managed services include specialist imaging, installed as part of the production process at Dell’s European manufacturing operation in Limerick, and Gold Support Services, provided by Dell’s technical support team, based in Cherrywood, Co Dublin.
