Datapac to create 20 jobs in new Cork office

IT solutions and managed services provider Datapac is to create 20 jobs over the next 12 to 18 months fllowing the opening of its new office in Cork. The 20 jobs will be in the areas of business development and technical support.

Datapac has more than 1000 business customers in Munster, including Boyle Sports and Glaxosmithkline.

With this expansion, Datapac expects to significantly increase its customer base in Munster, particularly as it has just entered into new partnership agreements with leading global technology companies, EMC and HP.

Datapac’s ‘Affiliate Elite’ partnership with EMC will see both organisations working together on sales and marketing initiatives, particularly for cloud computing, storage and data recovery services. In addition, Datapac has been chosen as HP’s choice of partner for nationwide onsite repair of in-warranty and commercial contracts for desktop PCs, laptops and printers.

Established in 1982, Datapac currently employs around 150 people in a number of locations around Ireland.
