Crumlin clinic streamlines appointments

Our Lady’s Hospital Crumlin Private Clinic has streamlined its operations thanks to the implementation of a Web-based appointment management system.

The system, from H2HCare, schedules the Clinic’s patients and resources automatically, improving scheduling efficiency, while reducing patient processing-related expenses. It handles appointment scheduling and automatically tracks appointment arrivals, cancellations and no shows.

‘We wanted an efficient 21st Century replacement for the receptionist’s appointment book,’ said Tracey Hynes, acting manager, Crumlin Private Clinic. ‘With 30 consultants and an administration staff of five people, it was impossible to handle appointment management efficiently.’ The next phase planned for the Clinic is to use the H2HCare SMS-based appointment module to confirm patients in advance of clinic attendance.
