Component Centre is out of this World

Upgrading or building a PC from scratch has never been easier, with the PC World Component Centre. The Centre has a range of products to suit system builders and technical experts alike, including OEM components, from power supplies and motherboards to processors and fans.

Launched last year, the Centre can be found in both the Blanchardstown and Liffey Valley Retail Park stores.

The self-service area in-store allows the more technical-minded customers to browse and choose their products, with competitive prices. There is immediate access to the products – a definite advantage, as there is no waiting for delivery as there would be when purchasing products from Internet stores, and all the products purchased there are guaranteed for a year under the PC World guarantee policy. In-store experts are also on hand to deliver the necessary advice when required.

Customer reaction to the service has been overwhelming, according to Peter Keenan, marketing Director of PC World. He described the Component Centre a major success. To deliver the best possible value for customers, the Component Centre’s prices are checked against online and traditional competitors on a regular basis.
