The Carphone Warehouse in Britain has formed a new partnership with BullGuard, specialists in PC and mobile security solutions. The alliance will see customers getting 12 months BullGuard Internet Security free with every purchase of a Windows laptop or netbook at The Carphone Warehouse, online, in-store or by phone.

The security package, worth about EUR*55, will provide customers with online protection for their computer and, if required, there’s additional online support available 24 hours a day.

Andrew Harrison, The Carphone Warehouse CEO, noted: “We recognise that the security threat to the online community is a growing concern. As a company, our mission is to offer expert advice and unbeatable after-sales care, and with laptops and netbooks, that means ensuring that our customers receive a total package to enjoy care-free computing. BullGuard Internet Security is also backed by a support service that leaves us protected online 24/7.”

BullGuard sales director Alan Case said: “We are delighted to be partnering with The Carphone Warehouse. As one of the biggest high street brands, this represents an excellent opportunity for BullGuard to increase its subscriber base along with its overall brand profile.”
