Up to 18 pages per minute in monochrome and 11 pages per minute in colour are possible with the new Bubble Jet i550 from Canon.

Relay-paper feeding speeds up the process by feeding the next sheet as the previous one is ejected. In addition new DC motors ensure fast and quiet printing, while the unique, independent, four-motor system increases the reliability and speed of output.

The i550’s high resolution, 4800 x 1200 dpi printing capability, combined with advanced Microfine Droplet Technology gives crisp, high-contrast prints and a broad colour range, even on plain paper.

Canon’s advanced printer head design lets the Bubble Jet i550 accurately produce and place 5 picolitre droplets on the page.

The printer also comes bundled with a range of powerful imaging software: Image Optimizer, Photo Optimizer PRO, Vivid Photo and new Photo Noise Reduction technology.

It has USB and parallel port connectivity and is networkable via Pricom C-700 and C-5100 network adapters.
