Canon has launched its new laser MFP, the LaserBase MF5770. The device prints, scans, copies, comes equipped with in-built fax, and is network ready.
The printer is capable of printing 20 pages per minute at 1200 dpi. The MF5770 copies digitally, sports a 50 sheet Automatic Document Feeder (ADF), and features a 250-sheet paper cassette. Utilising 1200 x 2400 dpi optical resolution and a CCD sensor, the scanning role of the MF5770 achieves high-resolution images with a greater depth of field.
With a scanning depth of 48/24 bits, a wide range of colours can be reproduced with greater accuracy.
Documents can also be scanned directly into PDF using the software supplied. The MF5770 includes plain paper fax functionality.
The Super G3 33.6Kbps modem in the fax can send and receive at 3 seconds per page, and multiple faxes can be received simultaneously without blocking the line.
The fax memory can store 256 pages. The MFP is also easy to maintain with an all-in-one cartridge. The LaserBase MF5770 is available now and costs €460.57
