BoxPAY adds five countries to network

SMS-based billing service provider boxPAY has announced the rollout of its platform in Denmark, Finland, Poland, Israel and Turkey.

"A Web-based merchant simply needs to sign-up on boxPAY.com, and can begin billing in the same day on the user-friendly, self-service platform. Customers only need their mobile phone to make a purchase, simply entering their number on a merchant website and confirming the transaction though an SMS message," said Kyle Hitchcox, director of strategic partnerships, boxPAY.

The boxPAY platform is aimed at online games, virtual goods, social networks, classified sites, and premium content access.

The company’s headquarters is in Dublin and is supported by staff in Sydney, Australia, and Johannesburg, South Africa. It operates in a total of 35 countries.
