Google-owned weblog provider Blogger has mysteriously gone offline, wiping posts from the last 30 hours with it. According to a report in All Things D, Blogger engineers had been in the process of a significant update to the service, but any link between this work and the outage has been officially discounted.
It’s not all doom and gloom, however. In an update on Blogger’s own blog it was posted that recent posts have been taken down temporarily while a solution is being found. This will likely come as cold comfort to themillions of users intent on sharing their musings with the Digital World.
Expect sign-ups to WordPress.com and Twitter to explode in the meantime.
