AIB Bank has reported that in February last (2003), its Internet banking service hosted over 1.1 million personal banking visits. This represents a 48% increase on the same period last year. During February, AIB claims that 155,000 customers used the AIB online personal banking service seven times on average, generating more than 300,000 payments and 1.3m online statements of bank and credit card accounts.
