Murray O’Laoire Architects is a firm of architects and planners based in Ireland, Poland and Russia. They have offices in Limerick, Dublin, Cork, Moscow and Warsaw, with 160 staff in total.

Prior to its EsatBT ADSL installation, it used a combination of 56k dial up connections, 64k Frame relay lines and 64k ISDN for Internet access and to connect all of their offices to their WAN (Wide Area Network).

Since the introduction of ADSL, the company has halved its Internet connection costs, which is now fixed. Its connection speed to each of its offices and the Internet has dramatically increased with 1Mbit/256Kbit/s ADSL connections replacing its creaking 64k ISDN connections. The ADSL is also used to connect all its offices to a Virtual Private Network (VPN).
