An interesting concept for small business owners, Mila scans social media for potential customers based on their social media updates. For example, if someone tweets about needing a tradesman in your field and area Mila will send you a message. If you decide to take up the job you can send a direct message back to the person in need.
After you’re done you can even generate an invoice through the app. It may take a while to catch on properly, but the potential is there. Here’s a clip explaining it better.
Daft.ie
For: Samsung Smart TV
Following on from RTE Player, Samsung has added another app to its Smart TV platform in the form of property website Daft.ie. This marks the second major Irish service to develop an app for the platform, based on Google Android.
Houzz
For: iOS
Already a hit in the US, Houzz is an interior design app with a massive database of images to put together scrapbook style. You can also upload your own pictures, participate in discussions and ask questions about photos you’ve taken inspiration from.
