Nokia has brought many of its location-based apps under the HERE brand to date encompassing Maps, Drive, Transit and, now, City Lens.

The augmented reality app makes finding the best of what’s around you simple by using your phone’s camera display to reveal the best shops, restaurants, and points of interest.

Fetch
For: iOS

Developed by casual games publisher Big Fish (which has an office in Cork), Fetch is a collection of arcade-style games where the lead character Milo blows up pirate ships, shoots skulls with a laser breathing snake and destroy evil dust bunnies in the biggest computer in the world as he tries to rescue his pet dog, Bear.

Once a player unlocks a mini-arcade game, they can replay it anytime to maximize their score and compete for the top spot on the Game Center leaderboard.

A museum level mimics the Fetch exhibit at the Museum of History and Industry (MOHAI) in Seattle – the first museum exhibit to take visitors step-by-step through the development process of a video game.
