If you think this is just a port of SimCity for mobile, you’d be largely right but that’s not a bad thing. SimCity Build has 3D-quality graphics, 360-degree rotation for different points of view and updates both on and offline so you can play without an Internet connection. Its online functionality allows you to play with friends and exchange resources, and there’s even an option to purchase well-known landmarks.

It seems standalone camera apps have fallen out of vogue in place of social networking apps like Instagram. Retrica shows there is life yet in regular camera apps, coming with plenty of filters (100 to start) and border effects. More novel features include watermarks, real-time filtering so you know exactly what picture you’re taking, a collage mode for photobooth-like effects and, yes, uploads to social networks.
