The wait for affordable super-fast access to the Internet is over for travellers to one Dublin-based hotel. The Stillorgan Park is the first hotel in Ireland to offer an ‘always on’ ADSL service Stillorgan Park Hotel to its guests after having Eircom’s I-Stream product installed by Moresoft Computers.
As ADSL is always on there is a permanent connection between the hotel and their ISP, dispensing with the need for time consuming dial up. The hotel can have 25 guests surfing the Internet in bedrooms, with other guests online in conference areas – all without any impact on speed.
Jeremy Seligman, corporate business development manager, Moresoft Computers adds “Fixed costs together with high speed connection to office Intranets anywhere in the world via VPN are the main benefits to the hotel and its clients.”
