Provider of licensed wireless telecommunications service provider Eirspeed Telecom, has completed a total transformation of the communications network at Irish Distillers in a contract worth €220,000.

Irish Distillers has six sites across Ireland, including locations in Belfast, Cork and Dublin.

The IT team at Irish Distillers has played its part in the success of the brand by transforming the way technology supports the organisation through the adoption of a private cloud model which is delivering reduced costs, has strengthened IT security and has facilitated the roll out of new applications and services across the group.

Transformation of the underlying network was designed and delivered by AirSpeed Telecom with the development of a new 100Mb/s multisite network across all sites with performance and QoS (Quality of Service) guarantees to support applications like VoIP as well as the critical demands of the new data centre.
