Airmagnet, a specialist in security, performance and compliance solutions for wireless LANS has named Waveform Solutions as its sole Irish partner.

Airmagnet points out that, with security guidelines becoming tighter as a result of pressure from banks and credit card firms, it is imperative that Irish companies implement systems to protect them and their customers.

The new partnership enables Waveform Solutions to offer the full suite of Airmagnet products. Airmagnet features include a combination of configuration assessment and file integrity, reducing the burden of attaining and proving continuous PCI compliance.

Airmagnet first assesses relevant configurations in the data centre and at the point of sale, then alerts the retailer to settings that don’t meet PCI requirements. The system can also assess configurations of the entire physical and virtual IT infrastructure, identifying any settings that do comply. It can also monitor the system continuously to detect any changes and generate an audit trail that can be used to prove continuous compliance.
