Adobe forecasts annual revenue above expectations
For the 2026 financial year, Adobe expects revenue to come in higher than analysts had forecast, thanks to strong demand for its creative software suite and the growth of its AI tools.
The company anticipates revenue of between $25.90 billion and $26.10 billion for the coming fiscal year, slightly above the consensus estimate of around $25.87 billion. Adjusted earnings per share (EPS) are projected at $23.30 to $23.50, also just above market expectations.
In the fourth quarter of 2025, Adobe reported revenue of $6.19 billion – slightly higher than the expected $6.11 billion.
The strong outlook is attributed to the popularity of products such as Photoshop, Lightroom and other Creative Cloud tools, combined with the integration of AI features that is driving more users and subscriptions.
Last month, Adobe announced that it plans to acquire SEO platform Semrush for $1.9 billion. The boards of directors of both companies have approved the acquisition. With the Semrush deal, the software company aims to help customers “increase their brand visibility and reach”.
Semrush offers several tools that enable users to boost their visibility in AI chatbots, such as the Semrush AI Visibility Toolkit and Semrush Enterprise AIO, which was announced earlier this year.
The acquisition of Semrush is Adobe’s largest deal since its failed takeover of Figma. In 2022, Adobe sought to acquire the design software developer for $20 billion.
