ACT! 6 from Sage CRM Solutions is the latest version of the company’s contact management software and includes several new features such as advanced integration with Microsoft Office, Adobe Acrobat and the Internet, making it even easier to access and examine customer information.

Designed as a professional contact-management system, ACT! 6 is intended to be suited to any small or medium sized business. Its flexibility means it can be used in a variety of ways across a business, whether as a sales tool keeping track of customers or as a project management tool enabling information to be shared across an organisation.

Full integration with Microsoft Outlook means that users can now access up to three ACT! address books from within Outlook making e-mailing faster and easier. A new e-mail client within ACT! 6 also allows users to harness the power of e-mail marketing by creating, sending and receiving professional HTML graphical e-mails.

Other ACT! 6 features include improved Internet services, allowing you to surf the Web without leaving ACT! and attach Web pages to your customer records. The pages are saved as offline Web pages so users can access the information even when they are not connected, or when the page is no longer available online.

A new Library feature offers improved file management by allowing users to directly attach and edit documents from the contact record.

Calendar Pop-Ups and Tools give you all the detail you need regarding a specific event or activity without having to open the calendar facility

A new Contact Activity Lookups feature allows users to identify key customers and deploy resources more efficiently and also to create opportunities to reactivate quiet and dormant customers.

Annual Event Tracking manages important dates such as birthdays, anniversaries and policy renewals by specifying any date fields in ACT! 6 as annual events, giving you advance notice allowing you to react appropriately
