All feature Acer’s DLP micro-sized chipset, resulting in slimmer, lighter and more robust designs for improved portability. Other features include Empowering Technology, which offers rapid access to frequently-used functions and settings such as, depending on the model, Acer eView Management, a practical utility that allows users to create and save display profiles based on their viewing preferences for different types of media and scenarios.

Also included is Acer eOpening Management, a utility that promises to make it easy to customise the projector’s start-up and standby screen, which is displayed each time the projector is turned on or without input. The PD525W, PH730 and PD5270 facilitate the usage of different screens for different situations, with an easy-to-use interface; or Acer eTimer Management that helps users respect the timing of their presentation. Thanks to a customizable OSD timer, users can set a countdown that notifies them when their time is up.

In addition, the Empowering key on the accompanying remote control allows users to switch rapidly between PC, Video, Bright, Theatre, Movie and User display modes as well as provides access to the most used Menu options. The projectors also allow the user to customise the start-up screen, to download images directly from the PC via USB and project specific images as a company logo.

The new models introduce several new features including a High Definition input as well as wireless 802.11b/g connectivity; enabling presentations at up to 5 frames per second. All Acer projectors are covered by a standard 2-years carry-in warranty.
