Acer’s silver and black Aspire L320 desktop PC has won the
Computex Taipei Best Choice of 2007 Award, a competition which picks Taiwan’s best IT products for overseas markets.
Around 10 times smaller than a traditional tower PC, the Aspire L320 is a full-featured PC and media center designed for the home. It can be placed both horizontally and vertically for optimal space saving. The Aspire L320’s offers quiet operation (only 26 dB idle), along with improved High-definition audio. The 7.1-channel surround sound system delivers super-clear acoustics for theater-like home entertainment. Its smooth contours, cool-blue luminescent indicator lights and shiny metallic surfaces add contemporary style.
At just 3 litres in volume, the Aspire L320 balances size with performance and cost. Intel’s Viv technology and Core2 Duo processor deliver 40% faster processing needed for home entertainment, while the L320 uses 40% less energy than previous-generation CPUs. The L320 has a new thermal pipe design using a copper heat sink and ultra-quiet fans. Three air-flow passages give optimal ventilation. This extremely efficient air flow system maintains a low internal temperature which reduces ownership costs by cutting power consumption.
