The software comprises of Spheras Storage Manager and Spheras Multipath, which together, enable centralised, multi-platform configuration, monitoring and management and automatic path failover of network storage assets.
The Spheras Storage Manager 1.0 software tool allows administrators to monitor, configure and manage their Eurologic network storage systems from a central console.
Storage Manager enables rapid, proactive response to potential faults by automatically detecting status changes and sending alert notifications to the administrator via the console’s GUI, event log or e-mail. Thee tool also enables storage management by asset, capacity and event.
Eurologic’s Spheras Multipath can keep servers and applications running through fault detection, automatic path failover and I/O re-routing when combined with cluster support. Spheras Multipath also enhances system performance through automatic load balancing.
